Welcome

Welcome to the Northern Kentucky Vintners & Grape Growers Association. Formed in late 2004 to assist with regional grape growers and wine makers, the association continues to grow and add more members and services. We welcome members from allied businesses, anyone who is interested in the wine and grape industry and any commercial growers and wineries in the region (which includes southern Ohio, and Southeastern Indiana as well as anyone from the commonwealth of Kentucky). Our mission statement is as follows:

1. To unite vintners and grape growers in Northern Kentucky in an association for the benefit of all its members.

2. To promote in Northern Kentucky growth and support of the grape growing and wine making industries, and the production of the finest grapes and high quality wine.

3. To represent in legislative and political matters the interests of Northern Kentucky vintners and grape growers.

4. To assist in recommendations, provide encouragement and participate in research related to viticulture and enological issues.

5. To disseminate current information and provide a forum for viticulture and winemaking practices.

6. To further education and interest in future commercial members through Allied, Associate and Student members.

7. To analyze and develop current marketing information for the use of the members.

The cost per year is depends on the type of membership. All members are encouraged to attend meetings, participate in discussion, utilize the resources of the Association for educational purposes, support, group co-operative discounts when available, legislative strength and marketing assistance.
